The on-board ethernet port allows a secure connection to the UltraSync Cloud, offering access to a wide range of services, including alarm reporting and remote connectivity. An optional 4G & WiFi router plug-on module is available for backup or primary cellular connectivity to the UltraSync Cloud. At the same time, the 4G & WiFi module can connect to a customer’s home router via a Wifi link. This avoids having to install an ethernet cable between the panel and the customer’s router. The module also has an ethernet port in case the security system requires UltraSync cameras for video surveillance purposes.
