The KAL790 provides a remote input for monitoring of the fire door, together with a potential free relay output for door magnet control, directly on the fire system loop. The input is constantly monitored for status change whilst the output provides a fail-to-safe control for the fire door. A facility to monitor the auxiliary supply controlling the door magnet is included.
